Stability Silver Sneakers

For ages 45 and older, seated or standing class designed to decrease the risk of falls with focus on improving balance and lower body strength.

Parent/Child Aquatics (Ages 6–36 Months)
This course emphasizes water acclimation. Parents or guardians participate in the water to support safe exploration, body positioning, and comfort in an aquatic environment for their children.

-Each participant may enroll in only one swim lesson session at a time. Duplicate enrollments will be canceled and may result in forfeiture of fees.
-Classes are weather permitting, no make-up classes due to inclement weather. Please call the center prior to arriving if you are unsure about weather conditions

Learn-to-Swim Level 1 (Ages 5+)
Children develop elementary aquatic competencies, including water adjustment, assisted floating, and safe entry and exit habits. Instruction focuses on establishing foundational safety behaviors and basic water skills.

-Each participant may enroll in only one swim lesson session at a time. Duplicate enrollments will be canceled and may result in forfeiture of fees.
-Classes are weather permitting, no make-up classes due to inclement weather. Please call the center prior to arriving if you are unsure about weather conditions

Learn-to-Swim Level 2 (Ages 5+)
Children build upon Level 1 competencies by improving body control, independent movement, and foundational water skills. Instruction emphasizes increased independence, coordinated arm and leg actions, and safe water habits.

-Each participant may enroll in only one swim lesson session at a time. Duplicate enrollments will be canceled and may result in forfeiture of fees.
-Classes are weather permitting, no make-up classes due to inclement weather. Please call the center prior to arriving if you are unsure about weather conditions

Learn-to-Swim Level 3 (Ages 6+)
Children refine water skills learned in Level 1 & 2 to achieve basic water competency. Instruction focuses on coordinated stroke actions, improved endurance, and effective movement through the water with minimal support.

-Each participant may enroll in only one swim lesson session at a time. Duplicate enrollments will be canceled and may result in forfeiture of fees.
-Classes are weather permitting, no make-up classes due to inclement weather. Please call the center prior to arriving if you are unsure about weather conditions

Preschool Aquatics (Ages 3–4 Years)
Children develop introductory water safety behaviors and pre-swimming skills through structured, age-appropriate instruction. Emphasis is placed on water adjustment, supported movement, and water safety habits.

Adult Beginner Lessons
Designed for adults or teens (13 years +) who are new to the water and want to learn the basics of water safety and gain confidence in their abilities in and around the pool.
$25 (W) / $27 (W/O)

Stroke Development (Ages 6+)
Participants improve proficiency in the swimming strokes and water skills. Instruction emphasizes stroke refinement, improved endurance, and greater independence in deep-water skills under the supervision of a certified instructor.
Participants COMPLETED Level 3 swim lessons and/or can SWIM 25 yards freestyle.

-Each participant may enroll in only one swim lesson session at a time. Duplicate enrollments will be canceled and may result in forfeiture of fees.

Successfully complete the course prerequisites prior to registering:
Swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest:
-swim 150 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both.
-2 minute treading of water using only the legs
-Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both

Timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds:
-Starting in the water, swim 20 yards and retrieve 10lb object
-Bring object back to wall maintaining face and object at waters surface.
